INDUSTRIES WE SERVE
Flag State & PSC Control
Independent capacity for administrations, and readiness for the owners they register. SolarisTech represents flag administrations internationally and provides non-statutory inspection, review and reporting that supports an administration's own statutory survey and certification. It does not replace it.
Statutory determinations, including certification, detention and safe manning, remain with the administration and its recognised organisations. For owners the same work runs the other way round: find what a Port State Control officer would find, before the officer does.
How We Help
Non-statutory inspection and review capacity for administrations, and Port State Control readiness for owners. Engagements are led by our founder, and every report names the reviewer who wrote it. Findings are recorded and tracked to closure.
CONTACT USWhat We Do
- Operator and fleet performance evaluation for administrations, reported as findings and supporting evidence, not as determinations.
- Non-statutory condition and compliance inspection benchmarked against flag State inspection criteria. It informs the administration's decisions and does not carry them. It is not a statutory survey and it produces no statutory certificate.
- Every document and image submitted for an inspection is reviewed, not a sample. The scope is the submission and the attendance, not the whole vessel.
- Recognised organisation performance monitoring and oversight support, reported to the administration for its own action.
- Pre-port PSC readiness inspection for owners and managers, to identify findings you can close before arrival.
- Support with deficiency, detention and casualty follow-up, with findings recorded and tracked to closure so the administration can evidence what was done and when.
- Regulatory interface led by a former Deputy Commissioner of Maritime Affairs for the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and a former Corporate Vice President at the American Bureau of Shipping.
- Screening of certificates, records and photographs through Nautilux ahead of attendance. Upload typically takes one to two hours through the secure portal, and for a complete submission received early in the working day we aim to return the reviewed result the same working day.
Our reports are prepared for the party that instructs us and for the purpose stated in the engagement. Reliance by any other party requires our written agreement.
