A new era of regulation is arriving for Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS), and with it a hard problem: a MASS vessel has to prove it is at least as safe as, if not safer than, a fully crewed ship. SolarisTech's vision is to be the platform that proves it, with continuous, evidence-based assurance that stands up to any regulator.
At the same time, the industry faces a deepening global seafarer shortage. By progressively taking over the crew compliance function, for autonomous and conventional vessels alike, Nautilux lets ships run safely at minimum safe manning, easing the shortage instead of fighting it.
