Where SolarisTech is appointed as marine warranty surveyor under a policy warranty clause and accepted by the underwriters concerned, the scope includes issuing the Certificate of Approval for the approved operation. Appointment is made by the assured and is subject to underwriter acceptance.

- Marine warranty survey attendance, procedure and documentation review, and written reporting. Where SolarisTech is appointed as marine warranty surveyor under a policy warranty clause and accepted by the underwriters concerned, the scope includes issuing the Certificate of Approval for the approved operation. - Operations we are engaged on, subject to scoping: load-outs, project cargo and heavy-lift transports, tows, offshore installation and decommissioning.
- Marine assurance and vessel suitability surveys against the operator's or charterer's own acceptance criteria.
- Confirmation that the required DP documentation set is present, current and consistent with the project's stated acceptance criteria. Technical assessment of DP system redundancy is referred to a DP specialist. SolarisTech does not author FMEAs, does not conduct DP annual trials and is not an IMCA member.
- Rig and vessel condition assessment, including pre-mobilisation and off-hire condition.
- Owner's and charterer's representation during offshore campaigns, with written reporting at the agreed intervals.
- Audit and inspection findings recorded and tracked to closure.
We take on the campaigns one senior principal can attend properly, and we say so at scoping when a scope needs a resident team instead. Our reports are prepared for the party that instructs us and for the purpose stated in the engagement. Reliance by any other party requires our written agreement.
