An underwriting or claims decision is only as good as the survey behind it. SolarisTech carries out independent condition and entry surveys, casualty attendance and root cause investigation, and writes reports built to be read by the other side.
Every report states its scope, its method and its limits, separates what was observed from what is inferred, and carries a named reviewer. SolarisTech works with clubs, fixed premium facilities and hull underwriters on an instructed basis.
How We Help
Independent survey and investigation evidence for underwriting and for claims. Engagements are led by our founder, and every report names the reviewer who wrote it. Findings and recommendations are recorded and tracked to closure.

- Pre-entry and condition surveys, with a written view on the condition found and the risk it presents, reported against a stated scope.
- Every document and image submitted for a survey is reviewed, not a sample. The scope is the submission and the attendance, not every space on the vessel.
- Document screening through Nautilux before an entry decision. Upload typically takes one to two hours through the secure portal, and for a complete submission received early in the working day we aim to return the reviewed result the same working day.
- Casualty attendance and root cause investigation, with evidence recorded and preserved so it is available later. Attendance is subject to availability and location. Where we cannot attend in time we say so at first contact and help you instruct a local surveyor.
- Technical analysis and written opinion for claims handlers and appointed counsel on classification practice, flag State practice, ISM, ISPS, MLC and statutory certification.
- Condition monitoring and risk scoring for entered fleets in the Nautilux shore side dashboard.
- Recommendations and corrective actions tracked to closure, so a condition of entry can be evidenced as met.
Our reports are prepared for the party that instructs us and for the purpose stated in the engagement. Reliance by any other party requires our written agreement.
