Dry-dock & Repair Management

Docking specifications, yard selection and on-site attendance, from a surveyor who has overseen repairs from the class side and from the owner's side. The yard works to the specification. We are there to hold it to that.

What's Included

  • Repair specification drafting and tender comparison
  • Yard selection guidance grounded in first-hand knowledge of Asian repair yards
  • On-site attendance at the critical phases of the docking
  • Variation-order review before you pay for it
  • Completion survey and docking report for owners and insurers

How We Engage

  1. 1

Build the specification from the vessel's actual condition, not from the last docking's.

  2. 2

Tender and compare on scope, not on headline price alone.

  3. 3

Attend, verify and close out the docking.

Outcomes

A docking that ends on the scope you specified, with variations you agreed to.
Variations challenged on technical grounds, in writing, at the time.
A documented repair record: what was opened, what was renewed, what was measured and by whom.

This is owner's representation and commercial attendance. Class and statutory attendance during the docking remains with your class society and your flag, and our completion survey and docking report do not substitute for either. Our reports are prepared for the party that instructs us and for the purpose stated in the engagement. Reliance by any other party requires our written agreement.
